Financial and editorial disclaimer

Effective and last updated: 25 August 2026

Tenthwise turns general personal-finance principles into planning tools. It does not know your full circumstances and does not tell you what financial product or transaction is right for you.

Production-preview notice. Operator and contact details are pending. Product perimeter, marketing claims and affiliate arrangements require Italian/EU legal review before commercial launch. This page is a safeguard, not permission to provide regulated advice.

1. General education, not personal advice

Tenthwise provides general information, organizational tools and hypothetical scenarios. It does not provide personalized financial planning, investment recommendations, portfolio management, order execution, investment research tailored to you, tax advice, legal advice, accounting, credit broking, insurance distribution or fiduciary services.

Nothing in the site is an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell or hold a security, crypto-asset, fund, insurance policy, pension, credit product or other financial instrument. Tenthwise does not assess suitability or appropriateness under MiFID rules and does not monitor your financial position.

Labels such as “next action,” “progress,” “keep rate,” “wealth path” or “financial security” describe educational interface features. They are not professional conclusions, credit scores or guarantees.

2. Investing and financial decisions involve risk

Investment values and income can fall as well as rise. You may lose some or all of the amount invested. Diversification may reduce certain risks but cannot eliminate loss. Inflation, fees, taxes, liquidity, currency movements, leverage, issuer failure and market conditions can materially change outcomes.

Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. A long time horizon does not guarantee profit. Emergency savings, debt repayment, pensions, property and insurance each involve trade-offs that depend on your circumstances and local rules.

Do not treat an educational example as authorization to move money. Beware of pressure, secrecy, guaranteed returns, impersonation and requests for credentials. Tenthwise will never need your bank password or brokerage recovery code.

3. Calculations, estimates and data quality

Budgets, savings rates, net worth, runway, projections, debt comparisons and progress indicators depend on what you enter and on simplified assumptions. They may omit compounding conventions, irregular income, fees, tax, inflation, exchange rates, early-repayment charges, pension rules, benefit interactions and timing effects.

Outputs can be incomplete, stale or wrong because of input error, software defects or changing law and markets. Demo values are fictional. Country and currency settings format the workspace and provide broad defaults; they do not establish tax residence, domicile, product eligibility or legal treatment.

Verify important figures against primary documents such as account statements, contracts, tax authority guidance and regulated-provider disclosures. Keep independent records; the workspace is not an official ledger or tax return.

4. Tax, legal and accounting limits

Italian and cross-border tax outcomes depend on facts including residence, source, entity type, account wrapper, asset classification and law at the relevant time. VAT language on the site concerns Tenthwise’s own service pricing and is not guidance on your taxes.

Consult a suitably qualified, independently chosen professional for material tax, legal, accounting, pension, debt, insurance or estate decisions. Urgent debt problems should be taken to an appropriate non-profit or regulated debt-support service in your jurisdiction.

5. Sources, links and third parties

Links and references help you investigate a topic; they do not mean Tenthwise endorses a provider, product or every statement on an external site. Third parties control their own content, availability, pricing, security and privacy practices. Check the current official terms before relying on them.

Editorial pages are original synthesis informed by cited sources and the process described in our methodology. A citation shows influence or support, not approval by the source author or publisher.

6. Affiliate and commercial disclosure

Some future links may be affiliate links. If you use one and later buy or subscribe, Tenthwise may receive a commission at no additional charge to you. Any such link or comparison will be clearly labelled near the recommendation.

Compensation must not buy a positive conclusion, hide material drawbacks or change the calculation shown to you. Where ranking or placement is sponsored, that fact and the basis of the ranking will be disclosed. Tenthwise is not currently claiming that any particular third-party offer is best, cheapest or suitable for you.

An affiliate relationship is not a regulatory endorsement and does not turn Tenthwise into your adviser. The final operator must maintain a conflicts process and publish partner terms before activating affiliate links.

7. Before making an important decision

  1. Check the original document, current price, fees, tax and risks.
  2. Test assumptions and consider what happens if income falls or costs rise.
  3. Confirm that a provider is authorized where authorization is required.
  4. Seek qualified independent advice when the consequence is material or unclear.
  5. Never invest or pay under time pressure.

Mandatory consumer rights are not waived by this disclaimer. For product questions or corrections, the operator/contact route is pending before commercial launch.
