1. What Tenthwise builds from

The product starts with memorable saving, spending, protection and earning principles associated with George S. Clason’s The Richest Man in Babylon. It then cross-checks those ideas against modern household-finance practice, behavioral evidence, consumer protection, current Italian/EU public guidance and the limits of software-generated scenarios.

Old rules of thumb are prompts, not universal prescriptions. “Keep ten percent,” for example, can be unrealistic or harmful when essentials, high-cost debt, disability, caring duties or unstable income require a different order. Each lesson should pair an action with assumptions, limitations and a route to primary information.

2. Our synthesis process

1. Define the question. State the user decision and jurisdiction, rather than starting from a slogan.
2. Prefer primary authority. Use legislation, regulators, tax authorities, statistical agencies, original research and official product documents for claims they control.
3. Cross-check. Compare more than one suitable source, note publication and effective dates, and separate facts from editorial judgement.
4. Translate. Write an original explanation in plain language, avoiding copied structure or substitute access to a book or article.
5. Expose assumptions. Show inputs, units, exclusions, uncertainty and country dependence near a calculation or recommendation.
6. Add a guardrail. Identify when general education stops and professional or regulated advice may be needed.
7. Review and correct. Recheck time-sensitive claims and log material corrections once the editorial operation is live.

Search snippets, generated summaries, social posts and affiliate pages are discovery aids at most. They are not adequate final authority for legal, tax, safety or product claims.

3. How Brain RS is used

Brain RS refers to the local retrieval/indexing workflow used during development to find and cross-check material available in the project’s authorized local source collection. It can help locate passages, compare themes and preserve source metadata. It is a research aid—not an author, expert, regulator or guarantee of accuracy.

An item returned by Brain RS is not automatically published or treated as true. A human editor should inspect the underlying source, confirm context and rights, and validate time-sensitive or high-impact claims against current primary material. Generated wording must not be represented as a quotation.

4. Source availability and a specific exclusion

The local source collection used for this preview includes or indexes material connected with The Richest Man in Babylon and supporting references reflected in product notes. Source availability must be recorded by edition and rights status before publication.

Benjamin Graham’s The Intelligent Investor is absent from the local source collection. Tenthwise has not treated it as a locally verified source for this preview and should not imply that Brain RS checked it. If a lawful copy or separately authoritative material is reviewed later, the methodology log and relevant page citations should be updated explicitly.

Absence from the local collection does not imply a view about a work’s quality. It simply prevents us from claiming that the work supported a specific local-source review.

5. Calculations and personalized-looking outputs

Workspace outputs are deterministic calculations over the values a user records. A percentage, status or suggested next setup step is not a prediction or suitability assessment. Product pages should document the formula, period, rounding and major exclusions close to the output or in an accessible explainer.

Scenario language should use “could,” “if” and ranges where appropriate—not false precision. Nominal and real values, gross and net amounts, and monthly and annual rates must not be mixed silently. Country selection changes presentation and broad context; it does not prove tax residence or legal eligibility.

6. Original synthesis, quotation and copyright

Tenthwise’s educational copy, lesson sequence, examples and interface prompts are written as original synthesis. We do not reproduce chapters, extensive passages, distinctive exercises or a substitute for a source work. Short quotations, if used, should be necessary, attributed, limited and reviewed under the law that applies.

A work’s publication date does not by itself establish public-domain status in every country or for every edition, translation, introduction or illustration. Rights must be checked for the specific material and territory. Public-domain ideas remain free to discuss; Tenthwise’s own expression and software are protected to the extent applicable.

Citations identify influence and let readers verify claims. They do not suggest that an author, publisher, regulator or institution endorses Tenthwise.

7. Freshness, corrections and versioning

Stable principles and time-sensitive rules have different review needs. Prices, tax thresholds, laws, regulatory status, provider features and security guidance should carry an “as of” date and be checked before publication and on a scheduled basis. A material correction should state what changed, when and why without silently rewriting the record.

Named editorial owner, correction form/email, response target and change log: pending before commercial launch. Until that route exists, the methodology is a preview of the intended standard rather than a completed editorial governance process.

8. Commercial relationships and editorial independence

Payment, sponsorship or affiliate commission must be disclosed near affected content. It must not determine factual conclusions, hide a material downside or turn a paid placement into an unlabeled ranking. Editors should record conflicts and use the same evidence standard for partners and non-partners.
